Building Permit Fees

The following fees shall be paid by applicants to the City of Pitt Meadows for a Building Permit according to Building Bylaw No. 2131:

Proposed Project	Fee Calculation
Commercial, Industrial & Institutional	1.0% of construction value ($10.00 per $1,000)
Residential, including garages, carports & patios	1.0% of construction value ($10.00 per $1,000)
Farm Buildings defined by the National Farm Building Code of Canada as having a Low Human Occupancy	0.7% of construction value ($7.00 per $1,000)
Single-wide mobile or modular homes (site preparation)	$100.00
Double-wide mobile or modular homes (site preparation)	$200.00
New Wood Burning Appliances or New Chimney Installations	$100.00
Move a Building	$100.00
Voluntary or other single inspections, including minor alterations and repairs	1.0% of construction ($10.00 per $1,000) $50.00 minimum
Change of Occupancy $100.00 plus	0.7% of construction value ($7.00 per $1,000)
Cancellation of Notice Against Land Title, Pursuant to Section 701 the Local Government Act	$500.00
Multiple inspections or off-hour inspections, as per Section 12 of this Bylaw	$100.00
