Where to Get Backflow Prevention Devices

Backflow prevention devices are available through authorized suppliers only, except for the Hose Connection Vacuum Breakers (HCVB), which are available at hardware stores. The HCVB should be installed on all outside hose bibs to protect residents from any backflow into their home.

If you are required to install a backflow preventer, contact a City of Pitt Meadows Building Inspector for recommendations on which preventer to install.
