Economic Development Services in Pitt Meadows are offered by the Pitt Meadows Economic Development Corporation (PMEDC). The PMEDC was established in March of 2010 by the City of Pitt Meadows. The PMEDC works in partnership with the City and local businesses to promote community prosperity and sustainability. We achieve this by delivering on our mandate to lead the City's economic development efforts through attracting and growing business investment.

The PMEDC has many services, programs and initiatives in place to assist the existing business community, market the community to potential investors and encourage employment opportunities in Pitt Meadows. Some of the Services Offered by the PMEDC includes:

Assisting both new and expanding businesses with locating and relocating busiensses
Facilitating the planning and development permitting process with the City
Conducting research on business gaps and opportunties
Assiting investors identify businesss opportunities in Pitt Meadows
Assisting Pitt Meadows businesses identify international opportunities and partnerhips
Facilitating sharing of business concerns with the appropriate agency
Maintaining a comprehensive available land and built space inventory web-page
Providing community statistics and demographics
