Would you like to get involved in your community and make an impact on its future?
The City of Pitt Meadows is now accepting applications from individuals interested in serving on the Council-appointed Agricultural Advisory Committee. The Agricultural Advisory Committee advises the municipality on agricultural issues within the community, including the review of applications initiated under the Agricultural Land Commission Act (ALCA); agricultural-related policies and plans; irrigation, drainage and other water management issues; and other matters as referred by Council. The Committee is looking for members of the public who have an interest and experience in agriculture topics.
While a professional background or work experience in a related field would be an asset, Council is interested in hearing from anyone who has a broad understanding of Pitt Meadows and its unique character.
Individuals interested in applying to serve on the Committee should fill out and submit the online form below. Applications will be accepted until Friday, March 30, 2018 at 4:30pm.
