Artists in Our Parks

The “Artists in our Parks” program encourages community building and enjoyment of local parks, and offers arts events for residents and or visitors of all ages to enjoy. In Pitt Meadows parks over the summer, look for performances, dance, music, theatre, film, community-engaged work and temporary installations to admire, enjoy and participate in.

Are you an artist who would like to participate in the program?
Permits for “Artists in our Parks” will be available from May 1 – October 30 for a fee of $25 for the season. Select parks and locations will have a maximum number of vendor permits issued per season. Artists interested in participating in the program are encouraged to contact the City at 604-465-2432 or email artsandculture@pittmeadows.bc.ca

Which parks are available?
Waterfront Commons Parks in Osprey Village, the paved plaza in front of South Bonson Community Centre, the paved plaza in front of the Pitt Meadows Art Gallery and Spirit Square.

How to Apply
Interested in applying to participate? Download and fill out the Artists in our Parks program application & regulations. Email the completed form to artsandculture@pittmeadows.bc.ca or drop it off at City Hall during regular business hours 8:30am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday. Please allow 5 business days for processing, and wait until you have an approved permit before advertising your participation in the program.
