Noon Hour Skate
A public skate designed for lap skating. Work on improving your strides, glides and stops. This session is quieter and better suited to adults new to skating or those needing assistance from a care worker. Supervised home-schooled children are welcome. Tuesday welcomes skaters wanting to work on basic figure skating elements, please check -in with on-ice staff for guidelines. No solo or competitive training allowed.

Parent & Tot
A skate for parents/guardians with children 6 years & under. Some toys, skating aids and other interactive equipment will be on the ice. All children must wear a helmet during this session. Strollers with clean wheels are welcome. No preschool ride-on or bike type toys allowed on the ice. Please check with on-ice staff for approval to bring your own toys/aids on the ice as not all items are permitted.

Public Skate
Everyone is welcome to this general lap skating session. The ice patrol staff will change the direction of skating throughout the session and may ‘cone-off’ the far end of the rink for slower skaters. No skating backwards or figure skating tricks permitted. Sunday is a family skate with one end of the ice sectioned off for slower skaters.

Great Value Skates
Everyone is welcome to this discounted Public Skate at $1 per skater. Regular rental rates apply. Some of these sessions may have themes or activities on the ice. Please expect more children/youth during these sessions.

Pro D Day Skate
This skate, held during the district-wide school days off is geared to school age children. Some equipment, skating aids and games may be organized by the ice patrol staff. This skate is an ‘everyone welcome’ public skate.
