Come and meet as a community to enjoy a celebration of Pitt Meadows
and summer fun for the whole family!
The event originally started as a Strawberry Tea during the Great Depression and grew from there. This year we celebrate 76 years of Pitt Meadows Day Celebrations!
2017 Schedule of Events
|7:00am-10:00am||Lions Pancake Breakfast at Heritage Hall; $5/adult, $2/12 and under|
|10:00am-4:00pm||Pitt Meadows Museum activities throughout the day|
|11am-12:45am||Parade starts from Hammond Road & Blakely Road, travels west to Harris Road, then travels north up Harris Road. Note: Harris Road and Hammond Road both CLOSE at 10:30am and REOPEN after the Parade. Please plan alternate routes and watch for traffic control volunteers.|
|12:00pm-5:00pm||Community Festival at Harris Road Park including live music, children's activities, community crafters and artisans. Don't miss the Canada 150 Mosaic Mural Painting event!|

5:00 - 6:00 - Fiddling Around - fiddle performance
Professional Skate Competition hosted by 'Hippie Mike' Industries. Registration begins at 1:30pm. $5 entry or two food items for the food bank - all proceeds to local food bank. Categories: Mini (10 under); Beginner; Intermediate; Advanced; Girls. Music by DJ Cuz-O
Salmon & Chicken BBQ - salmon cooked by Pitt Meadows Fire Rescue Service; chicken cooked by Henry's Chicken BBQ
Re/Max Hot Air Balloon - free rides 60-70 ft in the air over Harris Road Park
|6:30pm-8:30pm||Free Family Dance at Heritage Hall; everyone welcome|
|After Sunset||Fireworks display by the Pitt Meadows Fire Rescue Service; Pitt Meadows Athletic Park|
Parade Route Information - Road Closure 10:30 am - 1:00 pm

Canada 150 Mosaic Mural Painting Event
Be a part of history and help shape the Pitt Meadows mural that becomes one of 150 murals connecting all communities together across Canada. Look for the painting event at Harris Road Park on Pitt Meadows Day and paint your own tile that will form part of Pitt Meadows Canada 150 Mosaic Mural! All ages and skill levels are welcome; you do not have to be an artist!

Ron Morissette Award
The Ron Morissette Award recognizes the contributions of an outstanding individual or non-commercial, not for profit community group that currently serves, or has served in the past, as a volunteer for The Pitt Meadows Day Society and event. The recipient will be a person or group that “best exemplifies the spirit of Pitt Meadows Day”. Nomination deadline is Friday, May 12th, 2017 at 4 pm. Download the nomination form then mail or hand deliver nominations to:
