Recreation Guide and Programs

Parks & Leisure Services Arts & Recreation Guides provides a variety of programs and activities to the residents of both Pitt Meadows and Maple Ridge. Facility information, registered and drop-in programs as well as seasonal events are available in the guide which is published four times a year.

The Winter 2012 Program Guide is now available for viewing, registration begins on-line November 22.

Special Events

Check out the local holiday events around town. From A Pitt Meadows Christmas on December 2, the Osprey Village Tree lighing on December 4 to the Holiday Train along the CPR route December 17. There is winter fun for the whole family.

Outdoor Recreation Trails & Events Guide

This 68 page guide will help you explore our community in ways you never thought possible. It will broaden your knowledge of local opportunities to be active and how to safely experience the many outdoor adventures that await you. The maps will help you to explore our extensive dyke system too. The dykes were built to protect low-lying lands from flooding but also serve a recreational purpose. Ride horses, walk, and cycle amidst the beautiful natural scenery the dykes present. The lands around the dykes are also habitat to abundant wildlife and many species of birds, making the dyke system a favourite area for naturalists and bird-watchers.
