The Greater Vancouver Transportation Authority, Translink, works closely with the Government of British Columbia to develop an integrated road network that will improve the movement of goods and people through the Fraser Corridor. The Golden Ears Bridge is just one part of a long-term initiative to improve highways in Greater Vancouver.

This program is intended to reduce congestion, reduce travel times for commuters and tourists, and improve highway connections to international trade gateways such as YVR, Vancouver-area ports and U.S. border crossings.
