There is always something going on in Pitt Meadows! You can watch the Harris Roubaix bike race, celebrate Pitt Meadows Day and Canada Day, come to the airport open house, or stop in to explore our Museum.

Berry fields, crafts and corn mazes await you. And you really should visit Pitt Lake, the largest fresh water tidal lake in North America. Spend a day or two exploring the natural landscapes and wildlife along the three rivers and the extensive dyke system. Families and outdoor enthusiasts will marvel at all there is to see.

While visiting Pitt Meadows try golfing at one of our World Class Golf Courses, hiking our extensive trail network, biking across the dykes, or spend the day horseback riding! The City of Pitt Meadows has it all!

The Festival and Volunteer Office, in collaboration with event organizers and other knowledgeable volunteers, has teamed up to create an Event Resource Guide and a Parade Resource Manual. The Event Resource Manual [PDF - 2.1 MB] is filled with event planning guidelines, contact information, and suggestions to help organizing committeess create successful community events. The Parade Resource Manual [PDF - 1.7 MB] provides a welath of useful information for event organizers and assists new volunteers to understand the scope of planning both small and large scale parades.

Planning a green event means organizing a meeting, concert, workshop, festival and fundraising event in ways that minimize the environmental burdens imposed by the activities. Community volunteer event organizers have compiled this handy checklist of ideas for minimizing the carbon footprint of celebrations.
