Tourism Maple Ridge - Pitt Meadows

Tourism Maple Ridge - Pitt Meadows is looking for volunteers for several special events being held over the next year. If you think you may be interested please see the attached links for further information.

Ridge Meadows Hospital and Health Care Centre

There are many volunteer opportunities available in healthcare: residential care support which includes 1:1 visiting, activities volunteer or weekly bus outings for residents. We also have a Teen Program for students in School District #42. Acute care support which includes: Emergency Department, Ambulatory Care and Acute Care visiting programs.

Red Cross Health Equipment Loan Program

The Red Cross Health Equipment Loan Program (HELP) - Short Term Service provides loans of basic medical equipment such as wheelchairs, crutches and bathroom aids for up to three months. Equipment is provided by donation and a referral from a regulated health care professional is required. Volunteers are sought to provide direct client service and also to assist with equipment cleaning and maintenance.
