Sprinkling Regulations June 1 to September 30

Effective June 1, 2010 until September 30, 2010 sprinkling of lawns at times other than those listed below is prohibited. These measures are being taken to conserve our water resource so adequate amounts are available to all. Please use water responsibly.

1.     WHEN YOU MAY SPRINKLE YOUR LAWN

        DAYS:       EVEN Numbered Premises on Saturdays and Wednesdays
                          ODD Numbered Premises on Sundays and Thursdays
        TIMES:        4:00 am to 9:00 am on Permitted Days
                            7:00 pm to 10:00 pm on Permitted Days
2.      Newly turfed or seeded lawns may be sprinkled more frequently, provided a permit is
         obtained from the City.
         There is a $25.00 fee to obtain a permit to water newly turfed or seeded lawns.
         Contact the City Hall to obtain a permit. The sprinkling permit is valid for three weeks
         from date of application.
3.      Watering of flowers, shrubs and vegetable gardens is not affected by the regulations at this stage.
4.      Car washing is permitted using a hose equipped with a spring loaded shut-off device.
