Open Government Recommendations: How Are We Doing? Citizen Input Opportunity

March 1, 2018

In 2015, Council implemented a Citizens’ Committee on Open Government. Working with a facilitator, the Committee provided Council with 23 recommendations on possible ways to improve citizen interactions with City departments and Council. Over the past two years, the City has been working on implementing those recommendations, and Council has asked to bring the original committee members together, along with any other members of the public who would like to participate, to check-in and provide feedback on the progress that has been made.

There will be two meetings on March 7 and 22, with the facilitator, where participants will review the recommendations, be provided with an update on how the recommendations have been implemented, and be able to discuss and provide feedback on the outcomes from the recommendations, which will be reported back to Council.
