Public Hearing to Consider Zoning Changes to Residential Housing Regulations Feb 6
Infill Housing: Zoning Changes to Residential Housing Regulations
Council has been reviewing the way new housing is being built in existing neighbourhoods in Pitt Meadows. Residential properties that are zoned R1, R2 or RS may be affected by changes the City is proposing to land development regulations. Changes to regulations may impact minimum lot size, duplex construction, subdividable lots, impermeable surfaces, building height and location of construction on property. The impact of the bylaw affects infill and duplex development of potential single family lands.
A public hearing on infill housing was held on Tuesday, January 16 and will reconvene on Tuesday, February 6. Members of the public are invited to submit written comments and to address Council with their feedback on this issue at the public hearing up to and on February 6.
